What is ClassHive?
ClassHive is a digital teaching resource access hub, a one-stop-shop for all educational digital resources. It is designed to help reduce set-up and admin time for the management of digital subscriptions and free up teachers’ time.
How does it work?
ClassHive will look after digital subscriptions for the whole school – from Reading Eggs to Maths Ninja and beyond – and provide students and teachers with a hub to access their online learning tools. We ensure that all digital resources can be accessed quickly and easily in one place.
Why is ClassHive so good?
Imagine being able to log-in a whole class in just a few minutes? The ClassHive password management tools mean no more typing in multiple log ins and navigating student log ins with kids who might find this process challenging or who have lost their account details. Yes! This is one of the most popular features of ClassHive. You find a resource you want to try, and we’ll do the time-consuming set-up for you.
Who chooses the digital resources my school uses?
Schools are 100 per cent in control of what their students access and use. ClassHive does not add any resources to accounts without your request.
Are there any restriction on which apps I can put in ClassHive?
No – we can facilitate access to any digital resources.
Who does my school pay for my digital resources?
The customer relationship between schools and providers remains, so payment is made to the provider of each app: Reading Eggs, Wingaru etc.
Does it cost extra to add more digital resources?
No, you can add as many resources as you like with no additional cost
Will I still have a relationship with my chosen digital resource providers?
Yes, using ClassHive does not change the relationship between schools and providers. We are an access tool and can support schools with a concierge service.
How will ClassHive benefit parents?
ClassHive provides simplified access to all your children’s online learning platforms, which means only one log-in and no more lost-password tantrums! Plus, this log in can be managed by scanning a unique card – trust us, the kids love that bit!

We’re very busy bees, so this process really only takes a few days. Once we know a bit more about your situation, we can provide a timeframe.
Can we still log in to our digital learning tools directly with the provider?
Absolutely. ClassHive doesn’t stop any other log-in, it just provides a quicker, simpler one-stop shop.
Can I access ClassHive at any time?
Yes. ClassHive is available 24/7 on almost any internet enabled device, so it works at school, at home, on your iPad, on the bus, on your phone – whenever.

How do I install the ClassHive Kids app?
The ClassHive Kids app is available in the Apple Store and at Google Play. Your school has signed up, you can download it to your device, or to a desktop, and follow the simple instructions to set it up using the details your teacher provides.

Does ClassHive have a range of subscriptions?
We offer three subscriptions, from a simple yet effective DIY solution to a top-tier app management solution.
For schools that want to be hands on with the management and set up of their digital tools but want the convenience of one-stop logins, our Nectar subscription is perfect: you send us your class lists and we will set up all your accounts, ready for you to fill with your chosen accounts
Our Honeycomb subscription suits schools who are happy to manage subscriptions with their providers but are looking for support to simplify the everyday log-in experience for students and teachers. Simply send us your class lists, and your resource details including student usernames and passwords. We will set you up so there is nothing more for you to do. All your student digital resources will be linked to the correct student user with their log-in details saved to their accounts so they can log in to all the resources in one account.
Our top tier Queen Bee subscription is ideal for school who can see the benefit of outsourcing the management of all digital education sites. Simply send us your digital resource details and we will work with your providers to set up your accounts and resources in your Hive so each student and teacher has all their log ins in one place, ready to go. This is a comprehensive set-up, management and maintenance plan for all your online learning tools and features a concierge service including student and parent support, as well as acting as an agent on the school’s behalf to manage subscriptions.
What happens if I have a problem with one of the tools or need to update details in ClassHive?
